Shoes
OK - it should come as no surprise to anyone who’s followed my blog or who actually knows me that I love shoes. I mean really love them. I have a damn near inappropriate relationship with them. Don’t judge.
So, it should also not shock anyone that I’m a big, fat Tumblr lurker… Constantly on the lookout for awesome, beautiful, and even crazy-ass heels.
But there is one thing I need to get off my chest (well, more than one thing actually, but I’ll stick to the topic at hand)…
I cannot stand those crappy little Laura Ashley looking floral print fabric heels that I see in like every third “high heels” tag. They are ugly. They are stupid. They look like they are made from those ridiculous dresses we all coveted in the 80’s… That or my grandmother’s bedspread.
Do yourselves a favor - get over “cute” when it comes to shoes. If you wanna go for functional or practical, by all means go ahead (I mean, I guess somebody should, and it sure as shit ain’t gonna be me). But in my undeniably unbiased and completely correct opinion, heels should be hot, high, and sexy as hell -period.
